The Metalworks Development:
The Metalworks is a mid-rise condo and townhouse development in downtown Guelph that is part of a 5-building development transforming the area into an urban village with residential and commercial space. Three of the buildings are completed – Metalworks, The Studio and The Copper Club. The name Metalworks originates from the history of the site which produced metalwork since 1899. The development follows the Speed River and offers residents opportunities to be outside with amazing views. The Metalworks was recognized at Queen’s Park by the Ontario Association of Architects for part of their World Architecture Day celebration. The fourth building is coming soon – Anthem at The Metalworks, 93 Arthur Street South.
PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS
G&A Lock and Security, as a division of Knell’s, installed a Salto access control system with Axis Cameras & Axis Camera Station Video Management software for the first three buildings.
