Region of Waterloo – Temporary Shelter

The Region of Waterloo works in partnership with the community to support those in need of a safe, temporary place to stay. The Region funds temporary shelters through our community as part of a coordinated housing stability system. A University of Waterloo student residence building was renovated to support those in need of a shelter.

The Scott

An 11 storey mixed-use highrise Luxury Apartment Building situated in downtown Kitchener. The ground floor offers commercial space and the ten storeys above offer 134 residential units that are modern, stylish and contemporary.

Revive on Erb

Orignally a Queen Anne Style residence built in 1890 as the homestead of Jacob Gaukel Stroh. Stroh was a local tanner amongst other things and the founder of Waterloo Tannery. His homestead at 72 Erb Street East was Revived in 2021 as a 15 Unit rental building (13 One Bedroom and 2 Two Bedroom). Pfenning’s Organic Farms

A farming operation that grows organic vegetables, grains and legumes near New Hamburg, Ontario. They sell their products wholesale to retail stores, restaurants, caterers and food processors. They also work with many local farmers to help pack their produce and move it to the market. For out of season crops or those not grown in Ontario, they also serve as an international distributor.

A one-stop shop for healthcare in the Wellington Community. This medical centre is a collaborative approach to patient care for medical professionals in a state of the art faciltiy housing over 20 local doctors and other healthcare professionals. It is also home to Pharmasave, Lifelabs, Trailside Eye Care, Align Pedorthics and Grand River Physiotherapy.

Circa 1877

A 19 Storey, 187 Unit Condominium Complex in Waterloo, Ontario’s Westmount neighbourhood. Uniquely situated steps away from the Uptown, and is on the LRT route. This building fuses historical brick and beam elements from the former Brick Brewing Company building with modern architecture. Building amenities include sky terrace with cabanas, full yoga and fitness facilities, a chefs kitchen, wet bar and private terraces for each suite.
